This course is for learner who have an active ACLS provider card or an expired card within the last 90 days.
This option is for learners who prefer an all in person course

AHA ACLS Classroom Course:
- For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics, as well as others who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements.
Classroom-based (instructor and video) course instructs students to:
- Apply the BLS, Primary, and Secondary Assessments sequence for a systematic evaluation of adult patients.
- Perform prompt, high-quality BLS, including prioritizing early chest compressions and integrating early automated external defibrillator (AED) use
- Recognize and perform early management of respiratory arrest
- Discuss early recognition and management of ACS and stroke, including appropriate disposition
- Recognize and perform early management of bradyarrhythmias and tachyarrhythmias that may result in cardiac arrest or complicate resuscitation outcome
- Recognize and perform early management of cardiac arrest until termination of resuscitation or transfer of care, including immediate post-cardiac arrest care
- Model effective communication as a member or leader of a high-performance team
- Evaluate resuscitative efforts during a cardiac arrest through continuous assessment of CPR quality, monitoring the patient’s physiologic response, and delivering real-time feedback to the team
- Recognize the impact of team dynamics on overall team performance
- Discuss how the use of a rapid response team or medical emergency team may improve patient outcomes
- Define systems of care
The course Fee does NOT includes the Mandatory AHA ACLS manual*:
- Contains all of the information students need to know to successfully complete the instructor-led, classroom ACLS course. It is designed for use by a single student, and as a reference tool before, during, and after the course. The manual provides students access to a website containing mandatory and supplemental information and reference materials, including the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment (must pass with score of 70% or higher), to help them successfully complete the course.
- Includes ACLS Pocket Reference Card set, 1 sheet of tab labels, and 1 ACLS Precourse Preparation Checklist Card

For successful course completion:
students must demonstrate skills competency in all learning stations, pass the high-quality BLS skills test, bag-mask ventilation skills test, and the Megacode test. They also must pass the ACLS exam with a score of 84% or higher (open book). Upon successful completion, students receive an ACLS course completion card.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ):
1. What is the classroom course?
The classroom course is the classic method of delivering ACLS material via videos and instructor all in person.
2. Do I have to complete an online course before class? No. but you still have to complete the precourse self assessment prior to class.
3. How long is class? The class length can be anywhere between 5-8 hours depends on the number of learners enrolled and their relative experience with ACLS.
4. Can I take BLS or PALS same day? You can take BLS same day but PALS must be taken on a different day. If you want to take ACLS and PALS in the same day then you need to take the courses in a blended format, please explore our blended course options.
5. Is the book provided? We provide books (manuals) in 2 methods ebook or paperpac. *Please see Understand your add-on list below.
6. How do I get the book? If you choose paperback manual you will be given the book in class, if you choose ebook you will be emailed an access code immediately upon registering.
