Course Duration: 3-4 Hours The course duration varies considerably based on both the number of learners and their experience. We generally offer smaller classes with shorter durations.

American Heart Association's Heartsaver Adult and Pediatrics First Aid/CPR/AED course is designed for a non medical professional who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.
The Course does not include the American heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED Book.
Course components:
1. First Aid: Basic First Aid skills and recognition of life threatening emergencies, learners are expected to demostrate basic First Aid skills like removing gloves, investigating the scene, stopping bleeding and use of Epi Pen.
2. CPR AED: The course includes CPR/AED skills for all ages Adult, Child and infant. Learners are expected to recognize cardiac arrest by the lack of breathing, get emergency care on the way quickly, perform high quality CPR and use the AED device to help a person until EMS arrives.
Card Type: Upon completion of the skills session learners will receive American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion eCard - Delivered to your email address immediately after completion.
